✅ Solution: We’re building a diverse roster of participants, with backup vendors and chefs ready to step in if needed. Our early outreach strategy ensures we lock in key talent well in advance.

Venue & Logistics Challenges Selden Marketplace is an incredible venue, and our first choice, but managing space, permits, and event-day logistics can be tricky. There’s also the possibility of unexpected venue restrictions or setup challenges.
✅ Solution: We are working closely with Selden Marketplace’s management and the city to handle permits, layout planning, and operational details well in advance. Our team includes experienced event organizers who have managed large-scale food events before. We are alsocurrently researching alternate venues in Hampton Roads Virginia.

 Budget & Funding Risks While we are setting realistic financial goals, unexpected costs (such as rising food prices, rental fees, or promotional costs) could put a strain on our budget.
✅ Solution: By crowdfunding on Kickstarter, we are securing essential funds upfront. We also plan to seek local sponsorships, partnerships, and vendor participation fees to ensure financial sustainability.

Weather & Attendance Although NoshFest could possibly be held indoors at Selden Marketplace, unpredictable weather or external factors (holidays, competing events) could impact attendance.
✅ Solution: Our marketing plan includes a robust social media strategy, influencer partnerships, and local press coverage to generate strong buzz and pre-sell tickets. We will also explore contingency plans for alternative dates or formats if needed.
